On the Prowl...

For a job. I know there are a lot of people out there who are also having an immensely difficult time finding gainful employment, but I just graduated college. I'm currently finishing up an intensive course in Persian, which will end in a little over two weeks. Then there is nothing. I have sent my resume out to countless employers. I have a degree, but I'm unable to come even close to finding something that someone with any degree, let alone a Linguistics degree, could get hired for. My Cache 22 is that I'm overqualified for a lot of the jobs that I used to do, like receptionist and file clerk. Do they not realize that the economy is bad? I'm simply trying to stay afloat. The best part is that my mom wants me to stay in the same area. If she finds me a job in education, language, linguistics, ANYTHING, then I'll take it. But the jobs simply are not out there. I might be able to be a tutor. Maybe. My last resort will be a temp agency. I've done it before, so hopefully this time it will work, too. Working two jobs might be an option as well. Oh, the strife. I'm lucky I have a wonderful boyfriend who will do his best to take care of both of us in case I'm unable to find something. It's stressful. Gimme a job!!
